In recent weeks, a series of accounts have come to light alleging abuse of power by therapists and other practitioners who are leaders in the emerging field of psychedelic assisted therapies. In this field, there are potential abuses of power that involve, but are not limited to: crossing boundaries emotionally and sexually, emotional betrayal, and bartering arrangements that seem inequitable and could be exploitative.
