Not much has been written about the practical and legal considerations for working with clients who utilize psychedelics, despite an increasing popular interest in psychedelics and an increasing focus on “integration,” “intention setting,” and related services. As a result, licensed mental health professionals (“LPs”) who want to prepare themselves for the possibility of working legally with psychedelics in the next few years may feel uncertain of their options.
