Call for papers - Shamanic Voices - Anthropology of Consciousness

"Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I would like to bring to your attention a new feature to start shortly in the
journal, Anthropology of Consciousness, entitled SHAMANIC VOICES. As the new
associate editor of this section, I would like to solicit manuscripts that
come from your fieldwork or formal interviews with men and women who are
technicians of ecstasy, healers, metaphysical practitioners or any other category you think would fit that section.

Given that the journal is a publication of the American Anthropological
Association, there is a procedure in place for review which may or may not include
my being the first reader. In any case I will be happy to work with you in
preparing the ms. to meet journal requirements.
